One for the curiosity hunters amongst you, we reckon this is a piece of saltware dated back to about 1880. Who he was and why he has such a fiendish smile, is anyone's guess. As if he wasn't quirky enough, we've repaired his chips using Kintsugi gold inlay and we reckon he's good to go for another 140 years.
